Letter from Co-Founder of the Canada Sierra Leone Friendship Society Inc.:
To my fellow citizen home and abroad
Sending you this message, hoping you and your family are well and staying safe from the Corona virus (COVID-19). I am deeply concerned about this health crisis going global our organization is praying for everyone to stay safe and be conscious of their health. We, as an excursive, are saying this out of experience I am currently working as a health care provider and remembering the Ebola virus that swept through almost all my family members back home in Sierra Leone. The main challenge was lack of medical advice, equipment and no early medical intervention, which lead to their death. Please stay safe and advice everyone in your family to stay home.
If you are a health care provider, staying or helping elderly, patients, residents or clients, please use extra precaution. Whether they have contracted the COVID-19 or not, always protect yourself and your beloved ones. We are asking again to please stay home, protecting your family, stay a far distance from each other while speaking, stopping public gathering, eat healthy food and drink enough water or liquids.
The organization is advising that all Health Care Workers of all stages of this COVID-19 crisis does not differentiate or pick whose level. Just take the proper precautions by washing, and dressing-up before serving and change after servicing. As the world is in confusion on this crisis, working together, we will definitely overcome the challenge and get out of this disaster!
Stay bless God bless for all who takes advice
